GREAT sentiment - except during the COVID crisis.

Bought this card for future use in the event of illness of one of my friends. I thought it was a HOOT - for a variety of people with any of several maladies. - Then the COVID-insanity hit! I am hesitant to send this particular card right now, for fear someone will think I'm taking this pandemic lightly when a number of folks were referring to COVID facetiously as "Cooties." - NOW, it ain't so funny!

This card was designed way before the pandemic. While we shouldn't be taking the COVID-19 situation lightly, this isn't rally suggest one should. Yes cooties is a funny light way to call a disease, but the message of get yourself checked is there, as it should. I would have been more worried they think you are trying to tell them you might infected them with the virus.
Either way, let's remember this is a humor card, not a political or medical commentary, and says nothing regarding the pandemic.
